Hal Cromwell

As the point person for the Watkins Virtual Family Office, Hal Cromwell’s primary goal is to serve our business owner and affluent clients. The Watkins Virtual Family Office seeks to create time, effectiveness, and efficiency through structure and process. It also allows our clients to benefit from our 75+ years in the business community.

Our relationships become your relationships. We are able to help you save time identifying expertise and making connections, all while respecting and including your existing advisors. The WVFO not only helps you in the areas where you need help, but it can also introduce you to beneficial solutions that you were not aware of prior (not knowing what you don’t know). This allows our clients to accomplish their business and personal goals more effectively.

In addition to being the primary point of contact for the Watkins Virtual Family Office, Hal has 30+ years in the financial services industry. His role within Watkins is identifying tax mitigation opportunities, managing life insurance-related risk, helping with estate-related planning, and achieving business goals related to Key Man, Executive Compensation, Selective Retirement Plans, Business Succession, Asset Protection, etc.

Hal works across the advisor community (CPAs, Attorneys, Property & Casualty Producers, Financial Advisors, etc.) to lead a coordinated effort toward the greatest good for our clients. We help our clients build their coordinated, cooperative team.

Hal is passionate about two things outside of work: his 10 year old daughter Maddie and her soccer and flag football and supporting the Williamson County and Greater Austin recovery community. He currently leads the fundraising effort for the Yellow House Foundation Building Fund Capital Campaign. They have raised $1.5M and begun construction on a new facility that will be completed in the second quarter of 2024 that will serve our community and be available to all at no cost.
