Garrett Blount

Garrett Blount has extensive experience and knowledge of the ever-evolving insurance landscape, which allows him to guide clients seamlessly. He builds strong, long-term relationships with clients to establish a solid foundation for growth. While Garrett is an insurance generalist who has assisted clients in the Commercial market across multiple industries, his primary focus has been Commercial Trucking/Transportation, Construction, Artisan Contractors, Commercial Landscapers, Small Businesses, and Commercial Property Owners. He is also well versed in Personal Insurance, helping clients find the right coverage for their Personal Home and Auto, Farm and Ranch, and affluent Private Client risks. Every client has different needs, and he prides himself on ensuring a personalized experience that covers individual and unique risks.

Raised in Round Rock, TX, Garrett has deep ties to Williamson County and all the surrounding counties. He graduated from Round Rock High School, where he played football and baseball for the Dragons and was a part of the 2003 state runner-up baseball team. After high school, he continued his baseball career playing for McMurry University for four years while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Garrett currently sits on the board of the CHASCO YMCA in Round Rock, where he is on the Executive Committee and heads up the Strategic Planning Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Round Rock as well as the Ascend Leadership Program, which continue to keep him involved in the betterment of the community that he is so proudly a product of.

In his spare time, Garrett enjoys anything outdoors, whether playing golf or swimming in the pool with family and friends. He is a huge Texas Longhorns fan and loves watching them compete in any sport. His greatest passion, however, lies with his wife and their two children. His favorite time is being at the fields with his family, where he helps coach his son’s Select Baseball Team and daughter’s Select Softball Team. Watching them share the competitiveness and love for the game that he played while being able to coach and guide them through it is an experience that he wouldn’t trade for the world.
